I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period
Bill Owens is a journalist, who has worked at “60 Minutes,” the finest and most venerable journalistic program in the United States, for 24 years, and for the last six as its executive producer.
He has been forced out of “60 Minutes” by the insatiable greed of Shari Redstone, who has demanded that Bill Owens bend the knee to Donald Trump.
Later, you regret not doing something... when you had the chance.

To everyone shouting “no one is above the law” referring to that Milwaukee judge: We have a criminal in the White House. A guy who’s proven to be utterly lawless. And you’re perfectly fine with that. So take your “no one is above the law” bullshit and shove it up your ass.

Still not sure what this Substack thing even is or how to gain impressions. All I know to do is post here and there and just try and settle myself into this community and perhaps everything will work out on its own….

Today I learned about a term called a "glimmer." Which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude.
Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more.
Pam Bondi said on Fox that the FBI’s arrest of a county judge is “sending a very strong message.” Yes, Pam, and that message is, this country is being ruled by fascist traitors.

America has never been subject to this level of authoritarianism, and quite frankly, sheer incompetence.
Out of the ashes, this moment should radicalize us to embark on an era of new reform — of our economy, our democracy, and our commitment to social justice and the law.
Fire hydrants, trash cans, and trees are all absolutely accessibly challenges in an urban context! They are not excuses to make other people's lives just a little bit worse; they are reasons to push harder for nicer spaces for humans in our urban environments. David's reply on the impacts of curbside charging reads as ableist, dismissive, and wrong. Consider if the charger were moved into a parking spot, who would complain and how would that feedback go? Why isn't…
How different is a charger post (at least of the Level 2 style, like the Tesla Wall connector) from a parking meter, though? And we put those along the edges of sidewalks all the time. You probably could do an integrated meter / charger.
