The problem with modern work isn’t laziness.

It’s interruption. It's fragmentation.

Endless meetings.

Pings.

Context switches.

Micro-demands on your attention.

Some people aren't underperforming because they don’t care.

They're underperforming because they never get the chance to go deep.

Pence was in charge of the Covid-19 task force. For some reason Pence has not been blamed for the Covid-19 task force results.

My impression from reading Atlas's account is that he had no idea what he was doing and just deferred to trusting Birx/Fauci and not rocking the political boat (which is where Pence's preexisting skillset lay).

I agree. My take away from Dr Atlas’ book was that Pence is a push-over who has no ability to think for himself.

I don’t know I’m proud of Ron Johnson these days!

ronjohnson.senate.gov/2…

“Given current Congressional leadership, it is not surprising the Ukraine supplemental is far from perfect. Most disappointing, the spending is not offset when hundreds of billions of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill is still available..."

There's more:

ronjohnson.senate.gov/s…

Approximately the same number of people have died in the war (which incidentally started in 2014 as a result of a US backed coup) as have died in the USA from the 'vaccines.'

Still proud of Ron Johnson?

I am in the UK so I don't pick up some of these issues, but many thanks. So Ron Johnson is sensible about the vaccines and foolish about the Ukraine I guess.
