If you’re new to backend engineering …

Here’s something no one tells you:

Your first version of anything will be messy.

You’ll:

• Miss edge cases.

• Overcomplicate things.

• Connect services the wrong way.

• Write code that somehow works … but not sure why.

And that’s completely normal.

Clean systems aren’t built on the first try.

They result from dozens of iterations, rewrites, and lessons learned the hard way.

What looks simple in version 100 only got there by surviving the first 99 iterations.

So don’t be discouraged by slow beginnings.

Build. Break. Learn. Repeat.

That’s how backend engineers grow.
