Glad that this conversation has been getting some attention. It’s a pretty high-level discussion of AI consciousness.

I actually strongly disagree with Anil’s views. I think the case for the computational theory of mind is extremely strong, and that biological naturalism - the view that Anil defends, according to which consciousness is essentially tied to biology - is very implausible.
