He fled violent gangs in El Salvador that were threatening him and his family.

A U.S. court protected him from deportation. He got a work permit, a job, a wife, and three kids. No criminal record. Then ICE deported him anyway—by "mistake"—and dumped him into a Salvadoran prison built to house the very gangs he ran from.

What side do you fall on?

  1. The Incarnation happens because of man’s sin. God became man so that He would die on the cross to redeem mankind. In other words, God became man in response to man’s fall.

Or

  1. The Incarnation was always in the Divine plan regardless of man’s sins because in the Incarnation, God fully reveals Himself to us? In other words, the Incarnation would have happened even if man had not fallen.

The first is the Thomistic position and the second is the Scotus position.

Thoughts?
