An addendum to this. First, I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter the denomination. I’m not an ecumenicist, and I believe that they don’t have the fullness of the faith, but nonetheless I love them, both in person and over the internet. I have family members who are Protestant and Roman Catholic, I have friends who are both. I had a Roman Catholic family over for dinner and I consider them close friends and coworkers. I will discuss and debate theology with them, and even be somewhat understanding of their points.
Second, I firmly believe that the majority of online religious posters are downright frauds. If you have followed me on here I’ve called out several Substackistan Ortho larpers for the frauds that they are, both in text and on Black Ibis Social Club. I have no tolerance for kids posting nonsense for financial gain and very little tolerance for people Ortho fraud posting.
I find the recent uptick in “Trad-Cath” attacks on Orthodoxy on here mostly distasteful, but most of all I find it perplexing. I don’t understand Trad-Caths.
See, Orthodox guys like myself and many others on here actually go to Church. We know our Priests, Deacons, Catechists, and many if not all of the people that go to my church share …
