Today at Mass I genuinely felt like I was in a 1st century church hearing one of Paul’s letters being read out.
The priest, instead of preaching the homily, read out a letter from the Cardinal urging people to contact their MPs to ask them to vote against the assisted suicide bill being passed in the UK.
To me this is a wonderful example…
A female fencer has refused to compete against a biological man in a tournament at the University of Maryland. She took the knee and laid down her sword. The judges disqualified her. She is a true champion.
I don’t want reels. I want this to be a place for people who enjoy reading good writing.
I’ll take the thousand words, not the video that replaces them.
