Look at the shimmering grain on this wood handrail! It could be teak but I think it’s Ipe (ee-pay). This is the brand-new boardwalk at the brand-new Parker’s River Landing park and trail in West Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The boardwalk loops around a salt marsh.

Bravo to Yarmouth! I wish my town of Hyannis would put a little more effort into green space rather than towering condos (I know, I know; the housing crisis). (and by towering, I mean three or four stories. This is Cape Cod after all lol.)
