People will tell you that James Carville is irrelevant because he's no longer a political consultant. Not true.

Gaslight has deep financial ties to ABI Associates and American Bridge PAC (ABPAC). Both were co-founded by Bradley Beychok, who started his career with Carville and has been a prominent consultant for Democrats across the spectrum for two decades. Gaslight is owned by both Carville and his wife, Mary Matalin, a staunch Republican.

While Carville helps centrist Democrats and attacks progressives, his wife does the same for people like Marco Rubio. One company is playing both sides and has an outsized influence over electoral politics.
