So, there are some limitations to the agreement, which are too detailed to go into here. Buyers control the process. Once they are homeowners, they control if and when to buy the land underneath. The process only goes that direction. Jubilee cannot force the home owner to buy or sell or even whether the homeowner renovates or builds an addition. The protections are built into the agreement and there are others, as well.
I do think we need to think through alternative ways to get people into houses and let them begin to live there dreams. This is one of the more innovative programs I've seen in a long time.
