a cookbook should always be born out of passion because it’s hard and often unforgiving work. I always say, my one expectation when I write a book is that the recipes will be used and enjoyed, over and over again, by home cooks. That my recipes will empower home cooks to cook more, with more confidence.
All the other stuff is secondary to this one mission.
I see a lot of posts here about writing a cookbook, and I just want to say—quite a few of them paint a very misleading picture.
