The Duke counterterrorism fellowship program has censored the brief public biography of Col. Chris Countouriotis, following the journalist Seth Harp having publicly reported via a widely debated post on X yesterday that he was a recent commander of Delta Force, which executed the kidnapping of Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia, two days ago.
Seth Harp has issued a public statement in the aftermath of the controversy of his post yesterday, which reported that Col. Chris Countouriotis was the recent/current commander of Delta Force. “X admins locked my account and required me to delete certain posts in order to log back in,” he wrote, without again naming Countouriotis.
