Off topic election thoughts;
Really looking forward to moving past Election Day. Walked into a long line that went out the door at the poles early this morning. Haven’t seen this before though I usually vote after work. With the presidential democrat candidate that didn’t receive one vote, is completely unqualified and can’t seem to answer a question without rambling on and on, it’s hard for me to understand how this election is so close.

I wanted to tell you what happened to me at the polls this AM. I am in NH at least 4 nights per week so that’s where I vote. They check ID’s here which is great! I got my ballot, filled it out and went to put it in the hand counting slot, there’s a sign there. I always put my ballot there because I don’t trust the machine for all of the reasons that have been discussed. The woman there stopped me and said no just put it through the machine so I told her I prefer it hand counted. She said ok but…

She tried to show me a letter from the Secretary of State saying to make a list of peoples names that wanted their ballot hand counted. I appreciate the fact you went back & asked to have your name removed from the list- My thought & question is, what were the intentions of the SOS? What was the election-head-lady told to do in the event a voter wanted their vote hand-counted? Then, you had a moment after your name was already on the list…I’m a curious cat!
I should have said no I not giving you my name from the start. The poll lady showed me a letter from the Secretary of State saying to get a list of people asking for hand counted ballots. She mentioned they may reach out to me and explain that there’s no need to hand count the ballots. I stopped her and said I don’t want to be reached out to. I don’t care who wants my name on the list I just don’t want to my name associated with my ballot on a list period. I want my privacy and my ballot to be secret as that’s how it is supposed to be ….. hope that explains it. She wasn’t exactly sure why they wanted a list she was somewhat guessing.
