I am sorry to say that the reason I am such a bad writer is that I can’t emulate people and therefore learn. My writing is often an exact replica of the architecture of my mind, which is why it’s fucking terrible. The writers I love and which changed my life and mind are fiction and I am unable to write fiction. I dislike non-fiction, even though I must read it constantly, and I can only write non-fiction. Why am I like this? I don’t know. I hate what I am. I love what I’m not:
