Recorded an hour and a half with Bob McGinn. He goes (very) hard in the paint on everything: his series, 40-yd dash, anonymous scouts, film-junkie discourse, MOCKS, the Wonderlic, 2025 QB class, your questions.
In my column today, prompted by a censored Seth Rogen joke about RFK Jr. I have words for the oligarch sociopath class gradually seizing up Hollywood (not to mention the country) and the need for Hollywood not to tolerate this sort of thing even a little, starting NOW.

All season long we’ve been reporting that the Rockets' next significant trade would not happen in-season (as proved true) and is unlikely to target Kevin Durant because the future Hall of Famer is not on the same timeline as Houston's promising young core.
With the 52-win Rockets soon to open a playoff series against Golden State, sources…
'The Final Reckoning' may nab a record Fri-Sun debut for a 'Mission: Impossible' flick, even if that's mostly because 'Dead Reckoning' foolishly opened on a Wednesday.
I'm currently writing a defense of the revelations of Christ to St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy devotion in response to the attacks from (some) radical traditionalists. Buckle up.
The head of our country’s government is in the early stages of consolidating total power. We must of course reject this, but that is not enough. We have to respond by creating a different and better kind of American politics than we have seen before.

So give it a go, it’s a pretty lovely stretch. (Though it’s not actually magic, it’s just an up…
The second trailer for second 'Fantastic Four' reboot played like a grimdark remake of the first reboot. This second trailer for the third reboot plays like a loose remake of first reboot's sequel.

Audiences may prefer this more conventional sequel, one with far less math and far more conventional action set pieces, over its flawed (especially in the third act) but more unique and intriguingly structured predecessor.

Spencer Klavan absolutely nails it. The only way we can grow in morality is by experience. Experience gives wisdom. Wisdom allows us to see more clearly what God wants of us
Awesome read on addressing technical debt and engineering issues 👏
I loved the example about finding a spaghetti code file, and rather than immediately saying “ we must fix this”, doing some analysis on what issues it is causing, and if that’s where your team should be spending time, or if maybe it’s a different area of the system/code that’s not quite as bad, but has led to 3 production bugs in the last 2 months.
