So His Craziness, Donald Trump, has now thrown in with Pete Hegseth on the latter’s policy to gut a free press at the Pentagon by making reporters sign a restrictions pledge, or lose access to the building. This is the upside of having a boss that’s even dumber and more un-American than you are. Personally, I liked Hegseth better when he was accidentally hitting Fox & Friends guests with axes. He was just as ham-fisted and dangerous, but back then, he was only embarrassing Fox instead of the entire country. And Fox, as we know, is beyond embarrassment. So no real harm was done. (Except to the guy who almost lost his arm.) Though in fairness to Hegseth, he was probably drunk when he did this:
