The gentle reset shifts your focus from what you’re not doing to asking, “What will help me feel better in the long term?” Then, we listen.
It’s about tuning in and stopping the expectations we put on ourselves when we haven’t been 100%.
When I ask this question to myself on the first day, it’s always about sleep.
When we feel tired, everything feels hard and we are less resilient.Â
If life right now means that you have interrupted sleep, my heart goes out to you. I hope this season will pass soon and that you will get some relief. đź’•
Tonight, I put on some nice music and dimmed the lights. I often head to bed and don’t feel tired. Tonight, I didn’t think about whether I was tired or not, I just tasked myself with listening to a nice meditation. My body and mind relaxed and I was able to get tired enough to go to sleep at a decent time. Win!Â
This week, I’m going to be giving myself the gift of prioritising my sleep. 💕
