I'm currently reading Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger. It follows a capricious narrator attempting to navigate his way through life. He's impulsive, stubborn and glorifies himself at any chance he gets. I see a version of myself in him and even though he's so insufferable throughout the book you can't help but empathize with him and how he runs away from his identity and is so reluctant to confront it, how he tackles grief and makes humour his defense mechanism. It is an exploration inside the mind of a teen and reading this as a teen myself I understand him in more ways I can describe.

Itβs about immigrants and migrant families whose stories interweave as they find themselves outsiders together in the same apartment complex. I enjoy reading about all aspecβ¦
