Hi there! Jim and I want to thank you for your inspiration that lives on in our world. We host an annual Cioppino dinner at our house and this year we wanted tell everyone about our recent trip to Charleston and our lunch with you. We had your books for our friends to look at while we told them about our lunch and, coincidentally, your recent post about red grits. We had decided to serve a small sampling of shrimp & grits in homage to southern food. Everyone loved the red grits and were won over by them, even if not liking grits previously. Here’s a few pictures of our dinner: the shrimp & grits appetizer, a castelfrano citrus salad (in my opinion, the most beautiful lettuce) and our Cioppino!
