Imam Farahi may Allah have mercy upon him, was one of the biggest influences on this project, alhamdulillah.

Sadly, his works are very hard to find in the Arabic speaking world

Alhamdillah, I was able to come across very old copies of his books in the library of the Prophets masjid ﷺ

He encourages the much-needed paradigm shift from an encyclopedic approach to a thematic tadabur approach

Afterward reading his books my whole trajectory of tafsir study changed.

The concept of surah families was developed by him and later his students. Highlighting that a group of Median surahs are ended by a Meccan surah representing transition to a new group (or vice versa)

Trying to keep the project going with this Ramadan Surah Pairs Series

May Allah give us Tawfiq in accessing the wisdom of the Quran

Surah Baqarah first begins, back with addressing Bani Israel and their history, the places where they fell short and made mistakes; for the new Muslim community to deeply understand and realize where to look on closely, and not to become entrapped in the same pitfall.
