I was so overexcited upon arriving in France to stone fruit season that I went a bit nuts and bought all the cherries, apricots, white nectarines and flat peaches I could get my hands on. They are all so juicy and flavoursome, and exactly what I want to eat in the heat. A readymade snack or dessert that can’t be bettered, IMO. I also love stone fruit in summer salads
