has written about this)! The ancient Egyptians decorated their tombs and temples in bright hues still visible thousands of years later.

Egyptian magic, day 10: galabeyas. These long tunics are the traditional garb of farmers from the Nile Valley, and are common even in Cairo. In Upper Egypt, they tend to be either white or cornflower blue, which looks clean and crisp against the waters of the Nile.
