You might need to read this article… the one I shared yesterday on my campaign.

What made me post this now is the helplessness of one of my relatives, Ali… that young man I talked about a few days ago. Just a little while ago, he was visiting us at home with his wife, who is eight months pregnant.

He is one of the people who never believed in the idea of a fundraising campaign, one of those who always refused to show any weakness to others, no matter how difficult life became for him.

But today, Ali is unable. That ambitious young man, who worked hard in many fields.. construction, plumbing, agriculture, decoration, and painting.. cannot find any work today.

He is expecting twin daughters in a month. His wife just told me that he is exhausted, constantly thinking about the future of his daughter's.. how he will be able to provide for them in a life that has changed and been turned upside down.

He is thinking about how he can get through these difficult circumstances that were imposed on us, to care for his beloved wife and their little daughters. We will never forget him, but I don’t think that will cover all his needs, which occupy his mind.. especially at this stage of his life, as he is about to become a father for the first time, and not just to one child, but to two.

The future of an entire family is now in Ali’s hands, and he thinks of nothing else. And I am one of the few who sees this, because I observe closely and feel the needs of those around me without them speaking.

But today, Ali finally spoke and asked me for something I never could have expected from him:

He asked me to create a fundraising campaign for his family, to tell his story, and to find among my friends someone who could sponsor his campaign.

He actually asked for this.. the very thing he had always refused. Today, he says it himself… he is extremely helpless and needs you now.

But I know that this has become difficult at the moment.

So I suggested that I write his story, convey his voice and plea, and share it with as many people as possible.

From today until the end of March, I will dedicate my campaign and donate on its behalf to Ali and his family, just as I did previously for my friend Farah Enaya.

Anyone who wishes to help Ali secure a livelihood for himself and his family, and provide for his twin daughters who will soon bring joy to his heart, please don’t forget Ali.

Any contributions from your donations, starting from now until the end of this month, will be deposited into Ali’s family account. I will update you with the details later.

We cannot delay helping him now. Habibi and I have already been the first to leave a small donation in his bank account, hoping it will bring him some joy at least two days before Eid.

Whoever can put a smile on Ali and his wife’s faces, do not delay.. just do it.

Shukran all. And don’t feel embarrassed or pressured. Remember, participation itself is also a contribution.

With all my love.

Shahad and Ali

Your gratitude has taken a different turn and has begun to illuminate the lives of five other families besides mine during the genocide in Gaza. ♡

I woke up to find £750 from you in our box overnight, which is about $1000.

This is a large amount for me and habibi. You are truly wonderful people. Despite everything you are going through.. t…
