I think it’s very plausible to have warring going on everywhere but with multiple somewhat unrelated fronts. Very different from the last big one, for sure.

I would argue it’s the natural endpoint of the Enlightenment. As G.K. Chesterton wrote, “The madman is not the man who has lost his reason. The madman is the man who has lost everything except his reason.”

Britain has lost its way. The liberal politicians plus the overwhelming migration of Muslims have created problems that will be difficult to overcome.

Of course, they are now disarmed so they will gladly eat the shit sandwich.

Why do I keep hearing that Britain pioneered free speech? Where? When? Certainly, the colonists of Britain never had such freedom. The English bill of rights gave Parliament freedom of speech rights, not ordinary Englishmen. Having recently read that act, the Magna Carta, the Treason Act of 1351, and the Public Order Act of 1986, I must conclude that this is a fallacy promulgated by the aristocracy, who are still firmly in control of that country.
