Just a warning about how absolutely cooked we are: The Trump administration and other authoritarian governments that seek to emulate it, will not have any ethical boundaries around the use of AI. We are going to start seeing photos and videos of things that don’t exist and events that never occurred. As this technology improves I expect we will see videos of high profile people saying things they never said. I can’t stress enough that these people have no principles, only strategies. No tool is off limits. The era of being able to believe things that you see and hear on a computer is coming to an end.
