Positive affirmations are controversial.

Some people swear by them. Some people hate them and say it feels like trying to convince yourself of something you already know isn't true.

All I know is this: if you start saying stuff like the following to yourself, you'll find out very quickly where your resistance is, and how deeply held your limiting beliefs actually are:

"I am worthy of love and respect"

"I trust myself to make the right decisions"

"I am proud of how far I've come"

"My value isn’t measured by what I produce, but who I am"

Try looking in the mirror and saying any of these. You'll know instantly what you really believe about you.
