I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

The past couple days, this scene just keeps playing in my head on a loop.
There seems to be an endless supply of Will Ropers in Conservative, Inc., these days.
I haven't read Sanderson, but I am aware he was tapped to complete the Wheel of Time series. I did catch this interview with him by Tim Ferris and I have mixed feelings.
What struck me is how machine like he has made his production of 'content'. Including having an in house 'wiki guy' to basically make a wiki of his world building to track consistency. There is, of course, churning out languages for fantasy worlds as well. If Tolkien had these resources, I wonder what would have happened....
I think a little bit would have given us more quality stuff from him. I suspect a lot, though, would run the risk of, well, a slot of slop.
