Oooof this is a hard one I.P. but thank you for thinking of me.

Hmmm… As someone who stores quotes in their brain, I’m not entirely sure which one I would say definitely motivates me, BUT I do have the following up in my home:

1) “Your move, chief.” - actually, I have the whole of Robin Williams’ monologue from Good Will Hunting up on the wall. For all that academia means to me, it reminds me that I need to get out there and actually see it for myself (and yes, I do know what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel).

2) “Carpe Diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” - again, this is Robin Williams, this time in Dead Poet’s Society, and it’s stuck to the back of the front door as a printed plaque, so it’s the last thing the boys read before they leave the house. It was important to me that they saw something that inspired them.

They’re both motivational for me in a personal way. What are yours?
