Wow Sacred AF - Ami ❤️‍🔥 those words

This week has opened up something free

a bird in the garden visited me

a zebra finch,

neat, small, miraculous

he sat on a branch, I sat on a seat

both unique but united in peace

majestic he was

and though he be small

he stayed quietly brave

and hopped onto the wall

closer to me

so I could see

his spectacular tail - black and white stripes

his bright orange beak catching the light

we both stayed & time slowed down

earth under my feet,

he flew to the ground

my whole day was joyous

after that simple hello

I sat in the silence

and watched as he flew,

leaving a trail

of the wonder he knew.

The garden felt wider,

the world felt more kind,

with the rush of the morning

left trailing behind.
