Such a thorny, tangled, ENTIRELY non-binary problem. Nuance is hard as fuuuuu*k (especially for those with still maturing frontal lobes). Appreciate so much your dissection, Matt, et al… the gifts in this post just kept coming…

Not many, perhaps, but not no one. There have been unmistakable calls for genocide -in both directions - from *some* demonstrators. Explicitly endorsing the Hamas program qualifies, as do calls for the IDF to "finish the job" by emptying Gaza. (Indeed, this has been heard from members of Israeli government like Smotrich: "No half jobs. Rafah, Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat, total and utter destruction.")
